Who is this treatment for?
The Plexr® medical blepharoplasty is intended for people with mild to moderate eyelid laxity, mainly upper, sometimes lower.
The treatment may be suitable when the goal is to rejuvenate the eyes, achieve progressive aesthetic correction, or prevent skin aging.
Skin quality, elasticity, and eyelid thickness guide the indication.
The treatment is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
As a precaution, certain eye conditions or eyelid skin conditions may be a contraindication, to be assessed during consultation.
Session procedure
The session begins with the application of a local anesthetic cream approximately 30 minutes before the treatment.
The area is then treated by the Plexr® device, without direct contact with the skin.
The session lasts an average of 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the treated area.
The procedure is performed with great precision, without incision or bleeding.
A localized warm sensation may be felt during the procedure, without significant pain.
Results
The first effects appear after the micro-crusts fall off, generally in 7 to 10 days.
The skin retraction continues progressively, with a more visible result after 2 to 3 weeks.
The outcome remains natural, without altering facial expressions.
Depending on the initial skin excess, a single session may be sufficient, although multiple sessions may sometimes be considered.
The duration of the results can be long-lasting, subject to the natural aging of the skin.
Aftercare and recommendations
After the session, redness, moderate swelling, and small superficial crusts will appear temporarily.
These manifestations are part of the normal healing process.
It is important to avoid sun exposure, heat, and rubbing for several weeks.
Makeup is generally possible after a few days, depending on local healing.
A medical follow-up will allow for adaptation of post-procedure care and assessment of progress.
